President and Chief Executive Officer
Gary Quinn is FalconStor's president and chief executive officer. Quinn joined FalconStor in April 2012 as vice president of sales and marketing for North America, and he was named executive vice president and chief operating officer (COO) in April 2013. With more than 20 years at CA Technologies, Quinn last served as executive vice president of international sales and North American channel sales. In his executive sales role at CA, Quinn turned around a three-year decline of the company’s North American channel business to an annual growth rate of 25 percent. He has more than 15 years of executive experience in the rapidly evolving field of technology, specifically within the partner community, assisting in generating revenue streams and strengthening relationships. Most recently, Quinn was the commissioner of information technology (CIO) at Suffolk County Department of Information Technology. He received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Hofstra University.
Louis J. Petrucelly
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer
Louis J. Petrucelly is the chief financial officer, executive vice president, and treasurer, bringing to this role more than 15 years of experience in multi-dimensional corporate finance, operations, and accounting. Petrucelly was named CFO in August 2012, following his promotion to vice president of finance and appointment to treasurer and acting CFO in May 2012. Petrucelly served as director of finance from March 2008 to May 2012 and as director of financial reporting from March 2007 to March 2008. Prior to joining FalconStor, he was the corporate controller for Granite Broadcasting Corporation and held several senior financial management positions with PASSUR Aerospace, Inc., including chief financial officer. He began his career with Ernst & Young, LLP.
In 2013, Petrucelly was named one of the “40 Under 40” by Long Island Business News (LIBN) in recognition of his leadership and accomplishments. Petrucelly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the C.W. Post campus of Long Island University.
Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer
As executive vice president and chief product officer (CPO), Rob Zecha is responsible for all aspects of product strategy, development, quality, and management across the company’s portfolio. In addition, Zecha brings to FalconStor more than 20 years of experience as both an entrepreneur and a product development executive at early stage technology startups and established enterprises. Most recently, Zecha was the vice president of engineering and operations for Altior, where he led the delivery of compression storage and networking solutions for Big Data. Prior to that, he held the positions of vice president of business development, engineering, and marketing at SMSC and vice president of engineering as founder of Afide. In 1993, Zecha founded NetVision Corporation and as president led it to a successful acquisition by Network Peripherals, where he served as corporate officer and vice president of worldwide engineering. Zecha received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York.
Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Mr. Horowitz brings to FalconStor a wide range of legal experience. Prior to joining FalconStor, Mr. Horowitz held positions with NewView Technologies, Inc., a supply chain software company, and Reliance Group Holdings, Inc., a diversified insurance holding company, and was with Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson. Following law school, Mr. Horowitz was a law clerk to Judge Milton Pollack. Mr. Horowitz received his J.D. from Columbia Law School and his A.B. from Harvard College.
General Manager and Vice President, EMEA
Guy Berlo directs FalconStor’s operations through the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region, driving sales and furthering the company’s market penetration and leadership. Berlo has extensive experience in IT ranging from storage and IT outsourcing to technical engineering and virtual reality applications. Previously, Berlo served as regional director in EMEA, running FalconStor’s Central European operations and the Munich based German subsidiary for 12 years. Prior to that, he headed the channel and distribution business in Central and Southern EMEA and was general manager of Switzerland for Auspex. Before Auspex, Berlo was sales manager for applications management and outsourcing at Daimler-Benz Interservices (Debis) and sales director for EMEA at Evans & Sutherland, based in Salt Lake City. Berlo holds a master’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Stuttgart, Germany.
General Manager and Vice President of Sales, Americas
Herb Siegel brings to FalconStor more than 25 years of experience, with a focus on enterprise technology sales, working with companies including Sterling Infosystems, CA Technologies, and ePlus Systems. Siegel is responsible for growing and maintaining the company’s customer base in the Americas, including direct- and channel-sales initiatives. Most recently, Siegel served as executive vice president of sales for Sterling Infosystems, where his sales team was credited with Sterling being recognized by Crain's as one of the 50 Fastest Growing Companies in New York City. Mr. Siegel is a 17 year veteran of CA, Inc. where he held increasingly responsible senior management roles in development, sales and marketing. He is accomplished in building profitable organizations in the US, Asia and Europe. Mr. Siegel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in computer science from Adelphi University.
General Manager and Vice President of Sales and Marketing, APAC
Suresh Nair directs FalconStor’s sales operations through the Asia Pacific region, driving sales and furthering the company’s market penetration and leadership. Nair has extensive storage sales experience, most recently as regional sales director for EMC’s unified storage business in Asia Pacific and Japan. Prior to EMC, Nair was regional director of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) for NetApp, Inc., regional sales director for ASEAN/India at McData Corporation, and regional business director in Asia Pacific for Hewlett Packard. Nair holds a bachelor’s degree in information technology from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia.
