The labs are enabled with FalconStor NSS, a fully featured storage virtualization and data protection platform that allows you to replicate between dissimilar storage arrays, say FC from EMC on the production site to iSCSI from FalconStor or any other vendor on the DR site. The communication between vCeneter and the storage infrastructure is secured through an integration tool, FalconStor Storage Replication Adapter (SRA). FalconStor’s replication is also WAN-optimized to reduce the bandwidth cost and accelerate the replication process. And the beauty of all of this is you have never to touch the storage management interface, all the DR setup and execution processes can be performed from the vCenter interface.
In addition FalconStor provides an Auto Failback Manager plug-in for SRM that allows for a seamless and immediate operational failback to the primary site once the incident on the primary site has been cleared.
